Shipping & Booking Policy

Once a vendor receipt has been provided to you either the full payment or deposit, you are considered in a contract with the Vendor and your booking is considered confirmed. It is your responsibility to check the receipt carefully and report any incorrect or misspelled information on the receipt. You are required to report any inaccuracies or anomalies immediately. You will be responsible for ensuring the information provided to Memorable Creations Inc. (MCI) from booking the service to the Vendor. You agree to provide accurate and complete information to MCI for MCI’s vendors to deliver the service(s) booked. MCI is not responsible for any errors or omissions occurring as a result of you having provided inaccurate, incomplete, or incorrect information.

When booking on behalf of other persons, you have been granted permission to book on behalf of said individual person. You will be responsible for the booking and for making all remaining payments after the deposit has been made, for maintaining communication to the person being booked with, and for informing the Vendor of any changes needed to any booking of the other person. You will also be responsible for providing accurate and verified information on behalf of the other person being booked for. Any errors made by you will be at your cost. MCI is not responsible for any errors or omissions occurring as a result of you having provided inaccurate, incomplete, or incorrect information on behalf of the other person.

Vendors have their own deposit and refund policy.  Please read the vendor’s deposit and refund policy prior to purchasing their products and/or services.

When shipping a product, we encourage our vendors to use Canada Post when shipping within Canada to support our local community. Please sign up for a business account to receive discounts and start shipping in the following link: Canada Post

If you purchase Canada Post shipping labels, the cost of each shipping label, taxes, and parcel insurance will appear on your Canada Post account. When you purchase a Canada Post label, the fees will appear in Canadian Dollars (CAD) in your dashboard.

Any fees incurred by shipping is the full responsibility of the vendor. We encourage our vendors to plan for accurate shipping rates that they can manage through the shipping settings under their account.

Vendors are responsible for shipping their sold items to buyers. If you’re using a shipping or fulfilment service, please keep in mind that you are ultimately responsible for making sure that your buyers receive their orders.

By selling on MCI, you agree to:

A. Provide an accurate “ships from” address.
B. Specify your shipping costs and processing times in your listings.
C. Ship items promptly after they are sold. Prompt shipping means that you ship each item within 30 days of purchase, unless you specify otherwise in your processing time or agree to a different shipping period with the buyer through Live Chat. Before you update your processing time for a specific order, you must first obtain your buyer’s consent.
D. Comply with all local and national shipping regulations.
E. Ship to the address listed on the MCI receipt.
F. Mark the order as shipped when you ship it. Remember that you may only mark an order as shipped after you actually have shipped it. When you mark an order as shipped, the buyer will receive a notification.
G. Charge an appropriate amount for shipping.

In the unlikely event an order does not arrive, be prepared to provide valid proof of shipping. Valid proof of shipping must show that the item actually was shipped and that it was sent to the address provided on MCI. If a buyer does not receive their order, they may file a case against your shop. But don’t fret, MCI offers protection to vendors who meet our Vendor Protection Programme requirements.

We encourage to purchase parcel insurance from Canada Post for packages that are shipped using Canada Post shipping labels. Insurance claims for packages sent using Canada Post labels are handled exclusively by Canada Post.

If you purchased parcel insurance from Canada Post and need to file a claim, please contact them directly in the following link: Canada Post Support
